Family First Eye Doctor

Dr. Thomas Lucas IV is a native of Modesto, CA. He attended Oregon State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biohealth Sciences and a minor in Business. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2019. Dr. Lucas practices to deliver high-quality optometry services to Ukiah.

During his optometric training, Dr. Lucas completed internships at Kaiser Permanente, Veterans Affairs Department of Monterey, and the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. During his internships, he experienced a variety of patient demographics, ocular pathology, and advanced pediatric cases. He has a keen interest in pediatrics, binocular vision, and post-traumatic brain injury cases. 

In his spare time enjoys hunting, traveling, and long walks with his wife Jane, their daughter, and their dog Rusty.
